CHP’s İlgezdi: A science magazine in this country, like African countries, is the subject of hunger

CHP Vice President Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi drew attention to the article published by the Turkish Journal of Family Physicians on the impact of poverty on children: “In this country where an egg is worth 2 and half 3 lira and a 1 liter can of milk is worth 15 lira, our children cannot feed themselves enough, they cannot grow, they are weakening; “It’s almost like a third world country, like African countries, being starved in a scientific journal from that country,” he said.

CHP Vice President Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi, who assessed 2021 research on the effects of poverty on children in the Turkish Journal of Family Physicians, said one in four children were very low weight.

İlgezdi said, “Anyone who has a child knows that no parent wants their child to go to bed hungry. He takes his heart, even if not a single bite crosses his own throat, he feeds his child first. However, we understand from this serious article published in the Turkish Journal of Family Physicians that poverty affects our children the most. Even our parents can’t help it,” he said.

“A CALL FOR SACRIFICE INSTEAD OF FINDING A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM”

Ilgezdi, who criticizes the government, said: “While the government is filling its own coffers, it is starving our children. Our children, who are our future, cannot be fed properly because of bad government policies. The government is responsible for not finding a solution to our children’s access to food. While members of the government transfer 3-4 salaries to them; feeding buffalo yoghurt with Medina dates; with one hand in oil and one hand in honey; It says to make sacrifices for our fellow citizens,” he said.

CHP’s İlgezdi said:

“THE HARD TRUTH OF THE ARTICLE PREPARED BY DOCTORS”

“The proof that the government is not fighting against hunger and high prices is the inability of our children to feed themselves and the ills that go with it. The research in question was conducted in a family health center. A study was conducted on 1,049 children between the ages of 6 and 19, who were of primary, secondary and secondary school age. The obesity, hypertension and anemia values of these children (536 boys and 513 girls) were examined. Thus, a quarter of the 1,049 children are very underweight. Emphasizing that these children also have potential heart disease, it was determined in the study that almost all of the girls had a problem with anemia and struggled with various problems related to growth and development.

“WE TALK ABOUT HUNGER LIKE THE COUNTRIES OF AFRICA, WE LIVE FROM THE NEOLITHIC TO THE 21ST CENTURY”

“No matter how hard parents fight for their children, the minimum wage succumbs to inflation and turns into a bird. The money in the pocket does not fill the refrigerator, does not boil the food on the stove and our children do not have enough. Children who cannot get the nutrients they need cannot complete their physical and intellectual development. Unfortunately, the number of our poor families who end the day with only one meal is very high. We are in 2022, the age of technology. We don’t talk about how we can contribute to the education of our children in terms of technology. We are not talking about the fact that software developers are brought up in our country at a young age, that our children enter universities at the international level with the first place, but we are talking about the fact that our little puppies are left without food and losing weight. In a scientific journal of this country, hunger is the subject of a third world country, like the African countries. The conditions of great poverty in which we live are getting worse day by day. Under these conditions, in the coming period, we will deal with the problems of Neolithic peoples, such as access to basic food to survive. Thanks to the AKP, we will experience the Neolithic in the 21st century.

DANGER FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS: ANEMIA

“Another danger seen in our children who cannot be fed is potential heart disease. In the study, which draws attention to the fact that 85% of girls and 68% of boys suffer from anaemia, it is evident that this rate is only 18% in Europe, where it is claimed that ‘she’s jealous of us. It causes anemia, iron deficiencies, vitamin deficiencies such as B12, certain chronic diseases, bone marrow diseases, genetic diseases of the structure of red blood cells in our daughters.

“IF YOU FEED YOUR CHILDREN, NOT WITH RANT, YOU BECOME A GREAT COUNTRY!”

“You are proud of the national income, of the dual roads, of the bridges, of the buildings, but what good is it to brag when you cannot feed the developing children? You will become a great country as long as you provide the minimum level of nutrition to each of our children so that they can develop in a healthy way, not with the bridges, roads and buildings you build for this rent you brag about . Saying ‘we have 3 bridges anyway’, ‘we built a tunnel’, ‘we have the biggest airport’, ‘the roads are double’, you kids are hungry, people are hungry. Who cares ? Why don’t you care about the hunger of our country? You have starved this society that lives with the culture of not being able to sleep when its neighbor is hungry. Now everyone is hungry, these people are now sleeping hungry. At least the neighbor had it yesterday, it was shared. Now no one has. You said 3 children and encouraged the child. But you left the children insecure, without food and hungry. The government that left our children and our people in the arms of hunger and contributes to it should resign.

“THE SPEAKING POINT”

“Our children cannot be fed; that’s the end of the word. However, it should be known that under the CHP government, no child will go to bed hungry and our children will not have to struggle with diseases based on malnutrition. We will work without stopping, resting and tiring until we ensure that our children have access to healthy food.
