The first lesson bell has rung for future tech stars

According to the statement made by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the students who will participate in the training which will be held completely free of charge in the experimental technology workshops, started the lesson with the opening program organized in the Congress Haliç Center today.

The opening program began with the presentation of the General Manager of the T3 Foundation, Ömer Kökçam.

Speaking at the opening, T3 Foundation Board Chairman Haluk Bayraktar said, “We have one goal, our youth, who are the guarantee of this country’s strong future, let – dream them, develop and produce them, and we will be behind them until the end. Our country has big goals. You are the young people who will achieve these goals, and so are we. We are mobilizing our resources until the end, we are behind you. Our country has made great strides in many areas, especially in the defense industry, over the past 20 years. You are also responsible for the future. As the T3 Foundation, we have prepared some very special content and lessons for you. I wish good luck to the young people and to all of us. ” used the phrases.

After Bayraktar’s speech, the president of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, expressing his joy and sense of responsibility to be with young people, said, “First of all, I congratulate all our students who have been qualified to participate in the experimental program in 2022, who are physically here. today, and participating online from 27 cities. You said: “We are here for the future of our country and of humanity”. You said, “We want to be different.” “I see the hope and the enthusiasm in the young people. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, drew attention to the fact that they have set their sights on a fully independent Turkey with the National Technology Move and said:

Selcuk Bayraktar, on the other hand, in his speech before the lesson said: “My dear friends and colleagues, dear families, my dear brothers and sisters who will raise our flag to the highest level in Turkey’s technological journey, I greet you all with my deepest feelings. Today, in our first lesson, we will share with you the most important parts of our journey of the National Technology Move, which we have been on for almost 20 years. I will tell it. After his statements, he gave the first lesson to the students.

Future tech stars are nurtured at experimental tech workshops

According to the statement, Experiment Technology Workshops, which will be the driving force behind the National Technology Move for Turkey’s development and train young individuals with skills in high-tech development and production, will continue to provide technology trainings to their students with 81 Experiment Technology Workshops in 55 provinces, as well as the examinations held this year. By the end of 2022, 100 experimental technology workshops in 81 provinces are expected to be completed and put into operation. In the workshops, technologies such as design and production, robotic coding, electronic programming and the Internet of things, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software technologies, energy technologies, aeronautical and space technologies, materials science and nanotechnology, advanced robotics and mobile application will be offered to students under the Future Technology Stars program. It also aims to develop student skills such as entrepreneurship, creative thinking, critical thinking, complex problem solving, effective communication and teamwork.

At Experimental Technology Workshops, where students participating in the program are entitled to free 3-year education, the first two years of 3-year education are technology-based training and project development, and one year is the process of participating in national and international team competitions. A common educational program is implemented in the Experimental Technological Workshops, where the principle of equal opportunities in education is taken into account.

As part of the Presidency’s 100-day action plan, this project aims to enable the implementation of Turkey’s national technological development by providing equal opportunities in each province from Edirne to Hakkari, with the aim to discover and develop the scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs of the future. Project; It is carried out with the cooperation of 4 institutions, namely the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, TÜBİTAK and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation.
