“There is a big crisis going through the world regarding the pandemic. It hit the most developed countries. And yet, Turkey continued its production even at the worst time. Despite all this, Turkey managed to manage this process with its facilities. Inflation it happened in Turkey like everywhere else, but it was a bit more in Turkey because Turkey is growing…
Even without the pandemic, the development process still creates problems. In the period when the economic problems have intensified, Turkey has given a very clear answer to this. Turkey provides the most amazing and efficient services in the fields of social work for free. It is well above the European average. Europe poured on health during the epidemic process. We were very good at that. Turkey has a strong network in this regard. The minimum wage has increased by 50% for the first time in history. This is a realistic increase.
HOW ARE THE RETURNS ON THE MINIMUM FEE?
Turkey achieved the minimum wage increase under difficult conditions. It is a historic step. We got a 50% raise at the level where inflation was 30%. We achieved this increase on the initiative of our Chairman. We have provided very strong support to the employer here. We granted a tax exemption. The Turkish economy is growing rapidly. I believe the additional employment will continue.
WHAT ARE THE CONCRETE MEASURES TAKEN ON 3600 ADDITIONAL INDICATORS?
3600 additional indicators have been spoken in Turkey for years. Mr. President said that this problem will be solved. We’ve covered that. We need to. There is no turning back on this thing. We have done our job in the department. The 3,600 additional indicators make adjustments to employees, but especially to their retirement. We have completed that work within the department. In a second step, we will evaluate with the unions. We work for staff rights.
WE WORK FOR STAFF RIGHTS
There is another problem with the public. The point that we have put forward as an item to be settled in the collective agreement is contract staff. We will bring contract workers to the point where they will have the same rights as permanent workers. There are so many statistics, it’s mixed. We are going to simplify and we are doing such a study for those who want it. We will complete it this year. It is before us as a duty. He will arrive in parliament in June. Employees received a 31% raise. A reorganization will be made in July.
In this process, we have established important regulations regarding civil servants. There was also a request from our officials regarding the exclusion of the minimum wage from taxation. When we excluded the income of all our employees from the minimum wage, we made an additional 300 TL for civil servants. These questions are very clear. Since the subsistence minimum was abolished, family allowances, etc. are governed by the law relating to the status of the public service and do not fall within the scope of the AGI. The officers got a raise. Alimony was also not deprived of family support. Officers received a 31% raise. When the inflation linked figure is revealed, the 6 month rise represents a 31% increase. Annual inflation is 36%. Regulations will also be made in July. A 3% increase in the welfare share was granted.
HAS THE MINIMUM SURVIVAL DISCOUNT INCREASE?
AGI was taxed. Now we have waived this tax. In other words, we do not collect or refund taxes for AGI. We therefore no longer reimburse AGI. In this case, there is no loss for the employee.
ABOUT THE RETIREMENT
The lowest number of pensioners was 1500 lira, there were also 1300-1200 people. Our President had reduced it to 1500 TL. This figure has now been increased to 2500 TL.
62 BILLION TL SUPPORT
In the pandemic, tax exemption was brought to small traders. Many provisions have been made, such as partial unemployment benefit, unemployment insurance benefit. There are applications that relieve small businesses. Only our ministry provided 62 billion in aid… Social assistance was provided by our ministry, apart from other institutions covering small businesses. We have a line called ALO 170. We answer all requests. It works 24 hours. We serve with people who have been trained directly with people who have knowledge of the business.
THE SUBJECT OF INTERNSHIP PERIOD!
Professional groups have internships. All groups are different. Health insurance is available, some have no pension. Some are more extensive. Those who are not considered pensioners face serious problems. When the training period is outside retirement, he must work a few more years. We have work. Unsaved work is a big problem. Estimates are in progress. These figures are only guesses. The state is sensitive to eliminating the informal situation rather than the numbers, but the freedom of association must be expanded.
WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION OF THE WHITE FLAG MEAN?
The negative approach of our employers towards the union, on the contrary, institutionalizes communication between employer and employee. Our employers have a union mentality. The biggest obstacle to the unregistered problem. Our unions need to try new organizational models. Let me first give you the news here to encourage the subject. We apply the white flag.
