Pamukkale Municipality reunited children with comic book hero Kukuli on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. Thousands of children experienced the joy of Eid in 3 sessions at the Nihat Zeybekci Mehmet Gazi Hall Convention and Culture Center. Pamukkale Municipality’s April 23 activities for National Sovereignty and Children’s Day continued at the amusement park. During the one-day event, children had the opportunity to have fun in bumper cars, Ferris wheels, ballerinas and other playgroups. Also within the framework of the demonstrations of April 23, the event “Children have fun, schools compete” was held at the PAU KYK stadium, where various sports activities took place. Children competed in mini-basketball, darts, bocce, table tennis, pull-ups, shooting, maze and badminton branches during the day’s activities. In addition, the children had the chance to have fun at the face painting, painting workshop and shooting range. At the end of the competitions, Zahide Kaynak Dinçer Secondary School came first overall, Münevver Nafiz Dirlik Anafartalar Secondary School, Merkez Secondary School came third, and Zeytinköy Benevolent Secondary School came fourth. Mayor Örki, who also visited the teams participating in the April 23 Football Festival organized by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and Denizli ASKF with the support of the Municipality of Pamukkale in the same region, wished many success to athletes. In this tournament, Kartalgücü became the champion among those born in 2010-2011, while Bereketlispor took second place, and Golden Rooster and Golden Star teams took third place. In the category in which athletes born in 2012-2013 participated, Altın Yıldız FK won first place, Altın Horozspor took second place, and Merkezspor and Buharkentspor won third place. The awards were presented to the winning teams and athletes at a ceremony.
