Iso’s children’s council met for the second time

ISTANBUL – The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) celebrated National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on April 23 with the ICI Children’s Assembly meeting, which it organized for the second time in the history of the room.

According to the statement made by the ISO, the second meeting of the meeting, which will now be held every year, was held via video conference with the main objective of “Quality education for a growing Turkey”.

Hosted by the President of the ICI Assembly, Zeynep Bodur Okyay, and the Chairman of the Board, Erdal Bahçıvan, the meeting was held with the participation of the members of the Assembly and the Professional Committee, as well as their children and grandchildren.

Irmak Yavuz assumed the chairmanship of the ICI Children’s Assembly during the meeting, while Kaan Büyükdede, Chairman of the ICI Children’s Assembly Board, gave the opening speech.

Bahçıvan, whose speech at the meeting was included in the statement, noted that humanity has undergone rapid development, especially over the past 150 years, and industry is the strongest driving force behind this transformation. .

Emphasizing that education is the real transformer of this process, Bahçıvan made the following assessments:

“Because no matter which country in the world you look at today, you will see that every country that has achieved economic, cultural and social prosperity and has only achieved it through qualified education. This determination is also a guide for our precious children, who are the guarantee of the future.

As Einstein said: “The future of a country depends on the education of its inhabitants. Quality education for children is a prerequisite for Turkey’s development in all areas. Consider the situation from an industrial point of view; I would like to share another saying of Mustafa Kemal: “Industrialization is one of our main national causes. We will establish and operate all kinds of industries, large and small, whose economic elements are available in our country so that they can work and live. We must not forget that the way to success in this great national cause is to industrialize by relying on high technology that creates added value. For that, I think all of us, from ages 7 to 70, need to know how important quality education is.”

– Education is the most important factor for development and industry.

Noting that there is no substitute for quality education for the overall economic, social and moral well-being of a country, Okyay said, “Therefore, we cannot and must not make any concessions on the provision of quality education. It is certain that education is one of the main factors of development in every way.Human capital in the world is an important and “There is not a single country that can achieve sustainable economic development without the right investment.” used expressions.

President of ICI Children’s Assembly, Irmak Yavuz, said that he was honored and proud to be the President of ICI’s Children’s Assembly and said: “The founder of our Republic, the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, declared the importance he attaches to education by saying: “The most authentic guide in life”; our most important and most productive duties are national education. He said it is absolutely necessary to achieve victory in national education affairs. The true salvation of a nation can only be achieved in this way.

Principal Atatürk made many education-related reforms and brought a new era to our country’s education system. Also, Ataturk; “Wherever there is science, science and specialization, wherever there is art, you have to go and learn. We have to work hard. Working isn’t about getting tired and sweating for nothing.

According to the requirements of the times, it is necessary to make maximum use of science, technology and all kinds of civilized inventions. Education is the most important factor for sustainable development and industry. All children have equal access; the right to quality education must be guaranteed. All our friends and brothers should have this right,” he said.

Kaan Büyükdede, Chairman of the Board of ICI Children, said:

“I congratulate you all on this April 23, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. I would also like to express my gratitude to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gave us this day. When we finish our studies, we will work as whether doctors, engineers, teachers, software developers, writers, marketers or industrialists. “We need to receive a qualified education to do well, and to acquire skills in quality schools. The fact that our schools are equipped and that our teachers are the best in their subjects will prepare us for the future in the best possible way. I congratulate you and all the children of our country on April 23, and I wish you a lifetime of success. Source: AA
