Other defendants, İbrahim Halil Şimşek, Mehmet Yıldız, Mekail Şimşek, Mustafa Durmaz and Müslüm Yıldız, asked to be released in their defense, saying that “we have no connection with the incident”. Announcing its decision, the court counsel ruled that Celal Yıldız and Mekail Yıldız would be arrested separately, considering the plaintiffs’ statements, expert reports, witness statements, ATK reports and video recordings, that the requirement of judicial review would be insufficient. The court ruled that İbrahim Halil Şimşek and Müslüm Yıldız would be arrested separately for “obfuscation, concealment, destruction of evidence of crime”, “theft of objects kept under surveillance” and because there was concrete evidence. On the other hand, the court rejected the request of Hüseyin Yıldız, Mehmet Yıldız, Mustafa Durmaz and Mustafa Purpose, who were sent to detention, and decided to “release them under judicial supervision on condition that they sign two days a week” and “ Prohibition abroad”.
