Negotiations on the 2022 budget continue in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Referring to the minimum wage, AKP Party Vice President and Istanbul MP Numan Kurtulmuş said: “Thank God the minimum wage announced by our president yesterday in the last session has made all parts of Turkey extremely satisfied. The minimum wage of 4 thousand 253 lire, yes, at least, is an important support in terms of increasing the purchasing power of some of our fellow citizens. Furthermore, I am of the opinion that the elimination of not only the minimum wage but also the tax burden on the minimum wage will contribute to the positive development of the environment which has deteriorated recently due to this inflationary pressure in Turkey. . On this occasion, we know and hope that in the coming period, along with the new year, the rights they won in collective bargaining last year, civil servants and, God willing, disputes arising of this new situation will be given in a fair manner, and therefore a very large mass of officials. We expect this to come to a more comfortable point by the start of the year.
“WE WILL NEVER WAIT FOR THE RULES OF THE FREE MARKET ECONOMY”
Noting that Turkey will never abandon a policy based on investment, production, employment, exports and growth, Kurtulmuş said: “In doing so, we will never abandon the rules of market economy free, as some try to say. Turkey will continue to walk in the direction of a free market economy with a social policy and surrounded by ethical rules.
Regarding the allegations of economic emergency, Kurtulmuş said: “I underline this with bold lines because, unfortunately, just a few days ago, the fact that some people spoke excessively about the “state of economic emergency” on the coast and around the corner has raised significant concerns in Turkey and in circles that follow Turkey from outside. Again, we say it very clearly: a word like state of economic emergency is an exaggerated statement, don’t let it cross anyone’s mind. Turkey operates under the conditions of a free market economy. But we have seen this; Word has been spoken, especially on the networks social workers, who hung up on who behind them. Therefore, I want to point that out,” he said.
“TOGG IS NOT JUST THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY”
Regarding the Turkish National Automobile, Kurtulmuş said: “Just as the defense industry is not just the defense industry, TOGG is not just the automotive industry. TOGG’s successes also create a large and extremely powerful multiplier effect in the development of the sub-industry in the automotive industry and even in the development of batteries as part of renewable energy.
“Our debt-to-national-income ratio, which was 43% in 2002, has fallen to 10% today”
AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş assessed Istanbul CHP MP Kesici’s speech and said: “Mr. , but those who are under-secretaries for planning do not express the problems only in numbers. . Those who serve as under-secretaries and occupy this function make it a principle to evaluate the ratios. Because instead of saying “The figure has gone from 10 lira to 100 lira”, they feel compelled to express “what percentage of what was 10 lira, what percentage of what is 100 lira today” . Someone else can talk, but it’s really a shame that someone who was the undersecretary for planning only says the numbers and doesn’t go over the ratios. Maybe it can be found in the style of politics, but it will have different results in terms of sharing the facts with the public. Look, they expressed the internal debt, the external debt in foreign currency – the debts. In 2002, Mr. Kesici gave the figure of our debt, but he did not express what was the relationship to our national income. He also gave the figure for the 2022 budget, but did not specify what the rate was. Our debt-to-national-income ratio, which was 43% in 2002, has fallen to 10% today.
“WHEN YOU ASK ‘WHO IS THE PARTY THAT HAS LEFT A WORK IN THE HISTORY OF THE REPUBLIC’ TODAY, THE AK PARTY”
Elitaş said that they have been acting for 21 years and said, “We produce, we try our best to increase our nation’s welfare level with various means. For twenty-one years, opponents have tried to make the cheese boat work with words. But when it is said, “A person’s ritual is work, there is no need for words”, it has another expression among people, Mr. Kesici, while using the expression “The tail of the calf…” he hesitated to see if it suited manners. I also say: “The rite is the work of a person, without words” the expression among the people is “The donkey dies, its saddle remains; the man dies, his work remains. Today, when we ask ‘Who is the party that marked the history of the Republic’, ‘Parti AK’. When you ask, ‘Who owns these works since 2018?’, ‘People’s Alliance’. Hopefully we will try to continue this problem from 2023,” he said.
“THE HADISE WE ARE EXPERIENCING TODAY IS AT THE HEART OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST PROBLEMS”
Elitaş said, “The pandemic process which started in China at the end of December 2019 and started in Italy in the first months of 2020 and arrived in Turkey on March 11, 2020, shocked the whole world.”
“Without knowing who did what, without understanding when it will last, when there were discussions about whether the vaccine would be available and whether the vaccine would have an effect, in a period when the whole world was closed, Turkey must have been affected by depression and the effects felt during the pandemic process. Look, for about a year there has been a process of closure both in Turkey and around the world. At the time, it was called “health first”. All countries have taken various economic measures to save people living in their own country from the troubles of this closure process. From March 2020 to 2021, when the pandemic process continues, those who manage the Turkish economy, especially our president and cabinet members, do their best to help our citizens get out of this problem with minimum damage. and with minimal welfare loss. they showed. What we are experiencing today is one of the biggest problems in the world right now.
