A bodyguard for famed actor Johnny Depp has announced they noticed the scars and scars on the actor’s face as his marriage to Amber Heard grew increasingly rocky. Malcolm Connolly spoke in the Hollywood star’s defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife and told the court he saw his client become increasingly quieter, while Heard became more “dominant” and ” convincing”.

Depp’s bodyguard suggested that Depp was getting quieter as Amber started to get moody. Connolly admitted he had never experienced physical violence between the two of them, but said he heard Depp and Heard argue often: “I could hear Amber screaming. I could clearly hear the screaming and screaming.”
Neck scratches, eye bruises
And although he did not witness any violence, the security guard told the court that Depp began to notice scratches and scars on his face. He noted that he had seen no trace of Heard. “What I noticed immediately was that most of those marks were on the left side of Depp’s face,” Connolly said. Occasionally, Depp’s neck was scratched, his lip swollen or his eyes bruised, his bodyguard claimed. Noting that these injuries were becoming more frequent, the bodyguard added: “Not every week, but it definitely happened.”

The jury then saw a photo taken by Connolly from Depp and Heard’s honeymoon in 2013. Posing with his ex-wife and three others, Depp had visible scars and “puffiness” on his face. When asked to describe the photo, Connolly pointed to the “swelling on the left side” of Depp’s nose and “under the left eye.”
THE FOOT ON THE BED: “A TERRIBLE prank”
According to Jenkins, another of the actor’s bodyguards, Heard claimed responsibility for the stool that was seen in the bed he shared with the actor after his violent fight with Depp. The bodyguard said Heard described it as “a terrible prank”.
Testifying in court on Thursday, Jenkins spoke about what happened after Heard’s 30th birthday dinner on April 21, 2016.
GREAT BATTLE AFTER THE BIRTHDAY MEAL
Depp previously testified that he was late for the party at their Los Angeles home because he had a lengthy conversation with his manager about his deteriorating financial situation. After dinner, the actor said, Heard fought and scolded.
However, Depp had left Heard alone in the apartment as he drove to his home in the Hollywood Hills. The next day, when Heard left the house to go to the Coachella music festival, one of the maids found feces on the couple’s bed, on the side where Depp slept. Depp, who said he laughed when he saw the photos of the saddles, said: “It was so weird I could only laugh.”
“NOT DOG SHIRTS”
Jenkins, who accompanied Heard on this trip, was carrying the actress’ suitcase and two dogs. Jenkins said in his statement that he spoke to the actress “about the surprise Heard left on her boss’s bed.” Heard called it “a horrible prank gone wrong,” the bodyguard claims.
Although Heard suggested that the poop belonged to his dogs, Depp was unconvinced and said, “I lived with these dogs, I picked up their feces. The feces didn’t belong to them.”
Depp, 58, filed a libel suit against his 35-year-old ex-wife Heard for an article he wrote in The Washington Post in 2018. In the article, Heard claimed he had been abused.
Although Depp is not named in the article in question, the actor’s lawyers believe the article incorrectly implied that Heard was abused while married. Depp is seeking $50 million in damages for this reason.
However, contrary to Amber Heard’s claims that she was physically assaulted, Depp claims she is the real victim. Depp claims Heard attacked him during their relationship.
