Sivas University of Science and Technology Faculty and Staff Recruitment Announcement – Update


From the rectorate of the University of Science and Technology of Sivas:

1 – To the academic units of our university, in accordance with Law No. 2547 and the relevant articles of the regulations on the promotion and appointment of faculty members published in the Official Gazette of 06/12/2018, and the principles of the directive on Promotion and Appointment of Our University, Law No. 657 on Civil Servants Provided that the conditions specified in Article .

2 – The professorships are permanent. Candidates can obtain the Application for Application from http://www.sivas.edu.tr and with the attached documents requested in the Application for Application Sample;

3- The positions of associate professors are permanent. Candidates can obtain the Application for Application from http://www.sivas.edu.tr and with the attached documents requested in the Application for Application Sample;

4- Dr. Candidates can apply for the rectorship of Sivas University of Science and Technology by obtaining the application petition at http://www.sivas.edu.tr for faculty staff and with the required attachments in the sample application petition.

5 – Applicants must apply to the rectorate of the University of Science and Technology of Sivas in person or by mail within 35 (thirty-five) days (deadline: February 3, 2022 – Thursday) from the date of publication in the official journal. Applications not submitted on time will not be accepted. Our University will not be responsible for problems encountered in applications made by courier/cargo. Candidates must provide their mailing addresses and telephone numbers in their applications. Requests that do not comply with the terms of the announcement will be considered invalid.

6 – Those with the title of Professor, Associate Professor and Dr. Those with the title of Associate Professor are also added to the faculty members. They cannot apply for faculty positions.

7- Candidates applying for the positions of Associate Professor must pass the oral examination for the position of Associate Professor, which will be organized by the juries that will be formed by the Interuniversity Council in accordance with the “Criteria for Academic Appointment and Promotion of the University science and technology of Sivas”.

8- Certified copies of diplomas obtained abroad and certificates of equivalence must be obtained.

9- Candidates who submit their application must apply for only one posting announcement. Applicants applying for more than one position will not be considered for both applications.

At our university; The Higher Education Law No. 2547, the conditions specified in Article 48 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657, and the procedure and procedure regarding the central examination and entrance examinations to be applied in the appointments to be made to academic staff Staff other than faculty members published in the Official Gazette of 09/11/2018 and numbered 30590. In accordance with the relevant articles of the Principles Regulation; “Research Assistant” and “Professor” will be taken.

Terms and conditions:

1) Applicants who will apply must apply for only one posting ad. Applicants applying for more than one position will not be considered for both applications.

2) The equivalence of diplomas obtained abroad must be approved by the Interuniversity Council.

3) Appointments in the announcements of research assistants will be made in accordance with Article 50-d of Law No. 2547.

4- Appointments to instructor positions will be made in accordance with Article 31 of Law No. 2547.

5- The 4th and 5th year systems to be used in calculating the undergraduate graduation grade at the pre-assessment and final assessment stages.
