In order to bring the power of technology to the potential of women, the trainings of new female trainers have been completed under the “Digital My Job” project, which was implemented 2 years ago with the cooperation of the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Lifelong Learning and Vodafone Turkey Foundation. As part of the project, which has reached more than 5,000 women to date, an information meeting was organized for the heads of public education centers where trainers and project trainings on digital literacy and marketing will be delivered to existing and new trainers. 53 existing trainers, 86 new trainers and 84 administrators from institutions in 20 project provinces participated in the online training meetings.
IT IS OBJECTIVE TO DEVELOP THE DIGITAL SKILLS OF WOMEN TRAINERS

“As the Directorate General for Lifelong Learning, we carry out many projects in order to develop our staff and trainees socially, culturally and professionally and to bring them to an employable level according to this evolution. One of them is the “Digital My Job” project, which is a successful example of cooperation between the public and private sectors, which we have implemented in cooperation with the Vodafone Turkey Foundation to contribute to the development of digital skills of trainees who study at public education centers affiliated with the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. As part of the project, we provided basic IT skills to our female trainees with our Digital Literacy trainings, and contributed to their professional development in the digital field with our Digital Marketing trainings. Despite all the negative effects of the pandemic period, the project has generated great interest and thanks to this interest, we have reached more than 5,000 women. In the second year of the project, I believe we will achieve more success through the dedicated efforts of our valued trainers, and I hope the new term will be good for all of us.
WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED A PROJECT TO SUPPORT WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT

“As Vodafone Turkey Foundation, we believe that everything we do should serve a purpose. We designed the “Digital My Job” project based on our goal-oriented vision. We have set up a project that will both contribute to the digitization of society and support the development of women. With this project, we aim to improve women’s digital skills and ensure their inclusion in economic and social life. Last year, we reached a total of more than 5,000 women with the project that we have gradually implemented in 13 provinces. We employed 63 female trainees who graduated from Vodafone customer service training. In the new period of our project, we have increased the number of provinces from 13 to 20. We have set ourselves the new objective of reaching 12,000 women in 2 years. Of course, we will be able to achieve this goal with the contribution and support of our valued trainers. This is why we attach great importance to the training of trainers. In these trainings, we provide our intern candidates with detailed information on digital literacy and digital marketing. I wish all our new interns much success in advance.
TRAINING OF TRAINERS STARTED MARCH 31
The first of the train-the-trainers organized under the project was held on March 31 with the current trainers in digital literacy and on April 1 with the current trainers in digital marketing. The Digital Literacy training on April 13 and the Digital Marketing training on April 14 took place with new trainers. In addition, on April 11, an information meeting was organized for the heads of the public education centers where the training will be provided.
EDUCATION FOR 12 THOUSAND WOMEN IN 20 PROVINCES
With the “Digital My Job” project, it aims to reveal the digitalization potential of women through various training programs. As part of the project, 24-hour digital literacy and 40-hour digital marketing trainings are provided to female trainees. In the first year of the project, which entered its second year, more than 5,000 female trainees were trained by 140 trainers in 13 provinces. While 5 million TL of social value was obtained in this process, every 1 TL investment made for the project provided a social return of 5 TL. With the project, the objective is to provide training to a total of 12,000 female trainees in 20 provinces in 2 years.
